Stride Avenue Landfill, Methane Gas Management
System, and Building Electrical, Burnaby, BC
As sub-contractor to Stoelers Contracting Ltd., Tritech
supplied and installed all mechanical and electrical equipment for
this landfill gas- management system as well as the electrical works
for the building. Included in the mechanical and electrical portion
were landfill gas-extraction wells, wellheads, laterals, header
piping, control valves, condensate traps, vacuum blowers, a skid-mounted
utility flare, associated flare and blower controls. Additionally,
Tritech provided the electrical power supply for the blower, landfill
gas monitoring wells around the perimeter of the site and decommissioning
of the existing vents associated with the existing landfill gas-interception
trench.
