Vulcan Water Treatment Plant Upgrade, Vulcan,

General contractor for this project, the
scope of which involved upgrading the conventional water treatment
plant to include retrofitting the existing clarifier to accommodate
dissolved air flotation equipment for pre-treatment. Converting
the retention chamber into a flash mixer, supplying and installing
an air scour and complete backwash system, supplying and installing
monitoring equipment, completely upgrading pumps and piping
in the plant, upgrading the SCADA computer system and flow monitoring
equipment, as well as supplying and installing a back-up generator
system and aeration system. |
